HerVest app look to bridge $42bn gender finance gap in Africa for women

HerVest, a fintech dedicated to bridging the $42bn gender finance gap in Africa, has launched a revamped app to deepen access to financial growth services for underserved and excluded African women.

The app now features investment options such as investing in women-led small and medium enterprises, dollar-denominated assets, and fixed-income options.

The app also has a personal savings feature, trade and investment opportunities, and improved navigation.

HerVest aims to improve women’s lives by giving them access to and use of financial services across rural, urban, and peri-urban areas.
